Meets 2nd Tuesdays at Habersham Co. Health Dept. at 1 p.m. This is a community based iniative aimed at involving area citizens in efforts to promote and protect breastfeeding iniation and duration rates in the Northeast Georgia area. The U.S. Surgeon General has issued a Call to Action urging business and community leaders, in particularly older men and women, to join in this effort. We need website talent, marketing expertise, and support from religions leaders as well. The goal is to improve the health of women and children in this area.
