GSC's Bike and Hike Camp (Ages 9 & up)

Register early for the Bike and Hike Camp at Gainesville State College for ages 9 and up (parents are welcome also) July 23-26, Monday - Thursday, 9am - 12noon, $89 includes t-shirt and camp bag. The Gainesville State College Bike and Hike Camp is an introduction to mountain biking and hiking for ages 9 to Adult. (Parents are welcome to register with their children) The camp will begin and end each morning at the Gainesville State College Physical Education Building. During camp, campers will be hiking and biking on the GSC cross country trails. Participants will learn basic mountain bicycling skills, basic trail etiquette and how to maintain a bicycle. Each day campers will take a hike and a bike ride to learn trail and terrain recognition and how to find your way out of the woods. This camp will be taught by David Castaldini, Southern Off-road Bicycle Association Mountain Bike Patroller.

Please bring a bicycle, helmet, kneepads, elbow pads, snack, water bottle, bug repellent, and sunscreen to camp each day. Fee: $89 (includes tshirt) Register today at www.gsc.edu/ce or call Marcy or Lisa at 678-717-3605.
