Bike racing fan dies

ATLANTA - A bicycle racing fan who was seriously injured when his own bike crashed as he rode down Brasstown Bald last month has died.

53 year old Thomas Kinnebrew had watched a stage of the Tour de Georgia before starting down the mountain, the tallest peak in Georgia.

He suffered severe head, spine and lung injuries

WSB-TV reports that Kennebrew never regained consciousness, and died at North Fulton Regional Hospital.
