GAINESVILLE - While complete details surrounding their arrests were not available, Gainesville Police confirmed the third and fourth suspects in connection with large rocks being thrown at vehicles on Interstate 985 last week are in custody.

Kendrick Perry, 19, and Michael Ellis, 19, both of Gainesville, remained in the Hall County Jail Monday afternoon. They're the latest suspects in last Tuesday morning's incidents.

Hall County Sheriff's Deputy Nicole Bailes said Perry is charged with two counts each of criminal damage to property, terroristic acts and loitering. His bond was set at $21,000.

Ellis faces the same charges as Perry and an additional probation violation. Ellis has no bond, according to Bailes.

She said both men were arrested Friday.

Last week, Gainesville Police Cpl. Joe Britte said the rock-throwing happened at 1:30 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. from the Athens Street overpass in the city.

Britte said rocks hit two vehicles on the Interstate, and no one was injured.

The first two suspects were arrested last week shortly after the crimes. They were identified as Kyhrie Harris, 21, and Juan Peterson, 18.
