SUWANEE - On Tuesday, August 26, the Suwanee City Council will hold its final two public hearings on the proposed 2014 millage rate.

The first meeting will be at noon, with the final meeting following at 6:30 p.m.

The proposed rate is 4.93 mills, the same rate for the FY 2015 budget, and the same as the last two years.

Citizens will have a chance to give their comments on the millage rate at both meetings.

A vote is expected at the 6:30 meeting.

Both meetings are at Suwanee City Hall, located in the Suwanee Town Center.
