The East Hall softball team jumped out to an early lead on West Hall and captured an 11-0 victory on Tuesday.

Five runs in the first three innings allowed the Lady Vikings to put the game away early.

A sacrifice fly by Kali Turner in the first inning and an error during the second inning supplied the early offense for East Hall.

Josie Coker racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Lady Vikings. She doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Steffanie Redmon pitched lights out for East Hall. West Hall managed just one hit off of Redmon, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out five during her five innings of work.

After posting three runs in the fourth, the Lady Vikings again scored three in the fifth. In the fourth, they scored on a two-run double by Coker, bringing home Abby Black and Turner.

Stephany's double got things going, plating Tori Smith.

The Lady Vikings are at home Wednesday for a non region game against North Hall at 5:30 p.m.
