CLEVELAND - A driver caused heavy damage to the front of Dominos Pizza in Cleveland Wednesday night, and also may have damaged numerous vehicles in the city.
Cleveland Fire Chief Ricky Pruitt said the driver drove into the front of Dominos in Village Plaza on South Main Street, then left the scene.
"The front window of Dominos, he rammed it," Pruitt said by phone. "The two plate glass windows are broken, and the front door."
The unidentified man, now in police custody, also is believed to be responsible for ramming vehicles on both Bryant Street and Whitehall Commons in the city, Pruitt said.
The incidents happened around 10:30 p.m.
Pruitt was unsure how many vehicles were damaged and referred that to Cleveland police, who continue to investigate the incidents and process the scenes.
