GAINESVILLE - Gainesville Theatre Alliance says the venue has been changed for next weekend's production of "Half Mile Down."

Originally set for a farm at 3550 Clarks Bridge Road, the play is now scheduled to be performed at the Lake Lanier Olympic Center, also on Clarks Bridge Road.

Organizers say the new venue will accommodate a larger crowd and "simplify" parking.

The outdoor comic drama with an original bluegrass score, will be performed at 8:15 p.m. Gates will open at 6:00 for picnicking and other activities.
