ATLANTA (AP) -- A report shows Georgia's revenues totaled nearly $1.49 billion in July, an increase of 5.5 percent over the same month a year ago.
The office of Gov. Nathan Deal said Thursday that both individual and corporate income tax collections were up, along with gross sales tax collections.
Deal's office says the overall net sales tax increased $25.5 million, or 5.9 percent compared to the same month last year. Meanwhile, corporate income tax collections increased nearly $12.5 million, or roughly 89 percent compared to July 2013.
