Jackson Co. fire department, others, battle early morning house fire

NICHOLSON - An early morning house fire in Nicholson has ruled the cause as undetermined.
According to a press release from Jackson County Emergency Services Director Steve Nichols, crews from Jackson County, Nicholson and Commerce Fire Departments responded to a home on Cooper Farm Road just before midnight.
When they arrived, the house had heavy smoke and fire showing. The interior of the home was heavily damaged.
Reports showed that no one was living in the home at the time, and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire has been listed as undetermined but is still under investigation by the Nicholson Fire Department.
