Oakwood man arrested on drug charges

OAKWOOD - Thomas Earl Smith, 41, of Oakwood was arrested Monday after meeting under-cover police at a pre-determined location to make a drug sale.
Authoritites arrested him without incident, according to a press release from the Hall County Sheriff's Office.
Smith faces charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of psilocybin with intent to distribute, and possession of alprazolam.
The drugs police found, which included a search of his residence, are valued at around $300-400, according to Lt. Scott Ware with the Hall County Sheriff's Office.
