CLARKESVILLE - North Georgia Technical College’s Currahee Campus Librarian, Dawn Adams, is retiring after serving the community for nearly 40 years. Dawn’s first Librarian position was at Toccoa Falls College where she worked for twelve years before joining NGTC in 1986.

Adams began at NGTC by working in the library on the Clarkesville campus and then moving to the new Currahee campus when it was opened.

Students, faculty, staff, retirees, and many members of her church family from First Presbyterian of Toccoa filled the Currahee Conference Center during a recent drop-in farewell reception.

Adams and her husband Henry live in Toccoa.
