BLAIRSVILLE - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation conducted autopsies on two bodies that were found in Blairsville over the holiday weekend.
27-year-old Brandie Lawson and 47-year-old Todd Sparks
"The Union County Sheriff's Office was contacted on Saturday, July 5 about the bodies being found at 79 High Meadows Road in Blairsville," said GBI spokeswoman Sherry Lang.
Lang said in the release that the autopsy of 47-year-old Todd Sparks determined he died from suicide by means of an intra-oral gunshot wound.
"The results of the examination of Brandie Lawson's autopsy are pending toxicology testing," said Lang.
Lang said in the release the investigation determined 27-year-old Lawson's death was an isolated incident.
