NWS: Disturbance off Ga. coast could become tropical storm

The National Weather Service (NWS) is watching an area off the Georgia coast which it says could become a tropical storm.
Forecasters expect a gradual development of the system over the next few days as the low pressure area "meanders offshore." They add the system could impact "local" coastal areas "toward mid-week" but there is still "much uncertainty."
