OAKWOOD - A single-vehicle wreck shut down the northbound lanes of Interstate 985 between Flowery Branch and Oakwood Monday evening.
The wreck, reported around 6:15 p.m., involved a Chevrolet 3500 truck pulling a concrete mixer, according to Trooper 1st Class Jonathan S. Munger of Georgia State Patrol Post 6 in Gainesville.
The truck was traveling north in the right lane of I-985 when its left front tire blew out, Munger said.
The truck traveled off the left shoulder, struck a guardrail with its left front and rotated counterclockwise, Munger said.
"The concrete mixer vehicle 1 was towing became detached and overturned," Munger said.
The truck and the concrete mixer came to an uncontrolled rest facing southbound in the left northbound lane of I-985.
No one was hurt in the crash, Munger said.
Both northbound lanes were shut down for about an hour.
