Jury seated for Gainesville murder trial

GAINESVILLE - Jury selection has been completed in Hall County Superior Court for the murder trial of Joseph Scott Williams.
Williams is accused in the June, 2013, shooting death of Adrian Thompson outside Pepper's Grocery store on E.E. Butler Parkway in Gainesville.
In addition to the murder charge, the 32-year-old Williams faces charges of possession of a gun during the commission of a crime and possession of a gun by a convicted felon.
Jury selection, which got underway Monday, was completed on Tuesday, according to Court Administrator Reggie Forrester.
Testimony is scheduled to begin next Monday.
