NC, North Ga. restaurants to be showcased at Colorado festival
HAYESVILLE, NC – James Reaux, Chef/Owner of The Chophouse restaurants has been invited to participate in the 2014 Telluride Wine Festival in Telluride, Colorado, on June 26–June 29.
Reaux will be giving a cooking seminar featuring BBQ Quail from Manchester Farms, S.C., and demonstrating how to use the Professional EVO Grill System. He will also be cooking a four-course Gourmet Luncheon featuring his signature recipes at Allred’s Restaurant with Chef Micheal Regrut and Master Sommelier’s from around the country. In addition he will co-lecture a seminar on Moonshine with “Beverage Guru”, Mark Spivak, author of Iconic Sprits. This is Reaux's second opportunity to attend the Telluride Wine Festival as guest Chef.
Reaux is the owner and operator of the restaurant group Coast II Coast which is based in Western North Carolina and Northern Georgia. The restaurants currently in the group are Murphy’s Chophouse Restaurant in Murphy, N.C., The Chophouse of Hiawassee, Hiawassee, Ga., The Chophouse at LaPrade’s, Lakeside Grill and Tiki Bar and Hawg Wild BBQ and Catfish House in Clarksville, Ga.
