GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Planning Organization (GHMPO) has undertaken an update of the region’s long-range transportation plan, identifying transportation priorities in the region.

Now, the group is ready to hold its first community meeting as a way of seeking public feedback on transportation issues in the area. It will be held Thursday, June 5, from 5:30-7:00 at the Hall County Government Center. A formal presentation is planned at 6:00.

The GHMPO is seeking input on a number of topics, including:

• Prioritizing existing roadway projects
• Current and future travel patterns
