Collegiate rowing championships begin Sat. on Lanier

GAINESVILLE -- The American Collegiate Rowing Association (ACRA) National Championship Regatta will be held for the fourth year in a row Saturday and Sunday at the Clarks Bridge Olympic venue in Gainesville.

Collegiate rowing teams from over 56 institutions, represented by over 1,600 athletes from all over the nation, will compete for honors in individual events as well as overall team trophies.

The event, which is hosted by the Lake Lanier Rowing Club, is free to all spectators. The parking fee is $10.
