ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help SAPA Extrusions North America recruit about 20 manufacturing workers for its facility in Gainesville. The company manufactures aluminum extruded shapes, pipes, tubes, rods and bars.

The recruitment will be held Tuesday, May 6, from 5-7:30 p.m. at the plant at 2905 Old Oakwood Road.

The company is recruiting workers who have at least one year’s experience in metal handling or working in an aluminum extrusion facility. They must also have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED), along with an identification card or documentation for the immigration (I-9) process. Applicants must also wear long-sleeve shirts, long pants, and closed-toe shoes to the recruitment.

Due to federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Salaries begin at $12 an hour.
