Baseball: Chestatee gets big win on Senior Night

GAINESVILLE -- The Chestatee baseball team closed out its home schedule on a positive note whipping Madison County 12-2 in 5 innings on Senior Night Wednesday at War Eagle Park.

The War Eagles got an outstanding performance on the hill from Caleb Jameson, who went the distance throwing a no-hitter and allowing two unearned runs.

Jameson added a pair of RBI and scored a run at the plate. Senior Tanner Gable had a hit and an RBI and fellow senior Joey Schemanhad two hits, one RBI, and scored three runs for the War Eagles.

Senior Stevie Mueller got the War Eagles started in the bottom of the 2nd inning with a two-run single.

Chestatee will close out the regular season traveling to Madison County on Friday.
