GAINESVILLE -- Chestatee High School Principal Suzanne Jarrard has announced that she will recommend Ben Corley to the Hall County Board of Education to fill the position of Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at the school.

He will replace Stan Williams, who recently resigned his position for personal reasons. Mr. Corley, a 1991 Graduate of North Hall High School, holds current state certification in several areas, including education leadership, health/physical education, and science. He has been employed by the Hall County School District (HCSD) since 2012 at West Hall High School as a science teacher, assistant football coach, and assistant track coach.

Corley’s career in teaching and coaching spans nineteen (19) years involving multiple experiences in leading high school sports programs, which includes serving as head coach in football (two years at Winder-Barrow), head coach in basketball (four years as girls coach at Winder-Barrow; three years boys coach at Union County), and head coach in golf (1 year at Winder-Barrow). He has also served as assistant AD (2 years at Clarke-Central).

“I am excited that Ben will be joining our War Eagle family. He brings with him the total package," Principal Jarrard said. "His vast athletic experiences including being a head coach of multiple sports along with his academic knowledge as a science teacher are the perfect combination to help move Chestatee forward.”
