University of North Georgia pitcher Victoria Sink has been honored by the Peach Belt Conference as its AstroTurf Softball Pitcher of the Week as announced on Monday afternoon by the league office. Last week, the senior earned three wins highlighted by the first seven-inning perfect game in PBC history on April 9 in a 7-0 win over Young Harris.

The perfect game was one of three complete games Sink recorded on the week and one of her two shutouts.

Sink struck out three against YHC in setting down all 21 batters in a row. In a 7-3 win over Columbus State, she struck out five and walked a pair while allowing three earned runs then finished with a complete-game shutout, allowing four hits and striking out one against GSW.

Sink is second in the PBC in wins (21) and strikeouts. She has tallied nine shutouts on the year.
