Goddard School raises $1,000+ for children's hospital
By Ken Stanford Staff
FLOWERY BRANCH - The Goddard School located in Flowery Branch recently was host to the St. Jude's Annual Trike-A-Thon.
The Goddard children brought their bikes/trikes/scooters and/or big wheels and rode in the parking lot to show their support for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital's Trike-A-Thon and raised more than $1,000.
"We were (also) all delighted to be joined by Caleb (Aiden's Dad) and Kaylee from Adventure Cycles, a local bike shop, to use this event to also teach riding safety," says owner Gina Bean Diaz. "The teachers and children were anticipating a lot of fun and a great learning experience."
