GAINESVILLE - A Gillsville woman already jailed for identity fraud and theft faces dozens more charges as the investigation into her case continues.
Hall County authorities said in a press statement they obtained additional warrants on March 25 for Kathy Ann Cantrell after they found she opened four credit card accounts in the names of two different people. She is charged with using the credit cards 460 times in an eight-month time period between June 2013 and January 2014.
Investigators said she received over $40,120 in currency, goods and services with the fraudulently-obtained credit cards.
Authorities increased the amount of Cantrell's bond to $2,685,000. She remains in the Hall County Jail.
