Study ranks Hall 12th-healthiest county in state; Forsyth tops the list
By Ken Stanford Staff
A new study ranks Hall County as the twelfth-healthiest county in Georgia with Forsyth County topping the list.
Forsyth was also at the top of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation rankings last year, with Hall shown as the 11th-healthiest county in the state. (See earlier story. Second link below.)
Researchers say the rankings offer a snapshot of overall health for nearly every county in the country across 29 factors, including smoking, high school graduation rates, unemployment, physical inactivity, and access to healthy foods.
