Three Hasty Pope attorneys earn Georgia ‘Super Lawyer’ recognition
GAINESVILLE - Hasty Pope attorneys Jonathan Pope, Tom Pope and Dustin Davies have been honored by Super Lawyers Magazine.
Jonathan Pope was named to the Super Lawyer’s list for the fifth time and made the magazine’s prestigious Top 100 list for the first time. The Top 100 are the attorneys who earned the highest scores during the judging process. He has also been recognized in Georgia’s Top Rated Lawyers, Georgia Trend’s “Legal Elite,” and named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers list.
This is the first time Tom Pope has appeared on the Super Lawyers list. He is also a member of several professional organizations including the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, the Southern Trial Lawyers Association and Lawyers Club of Atlanta.
Davies was named to the Rising Star list for attorneys under 40 and has been with the firm for just over a year.
The firm focuses its trial practice on a wide range of personal injury matters, including wrongful death, automobile and tractor trailer accidents, and medical negligence. All three lawyers were named in the personal injury plaintiff category.
Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.
Super Lawyers Magazine features the list and profiles of selected attorneys and is distributed to attorneys throughout Georgia and the ABA-accredited law school libraries. It is also published as a special section in leading city and regional magazines across the country, including Atlanta Magazine.
Only five percent of the state’s lawyers meet the criteria for inclusion in the magazines’ Super Lawyer listing.
