Baseball: North Hall knocks off Fannin County 15-2 in 5 innings

GAINESVILLE -- The North Hall baseball team completed their home-and-away sweep of Fannin County on Thursday, knocking off the Rebels 15-2 in five innings.

Josh Hammond earned the win on the mound for the Trojans (4-3, 2-0 Region 7-AAA), pitching four innings while allowing five hits and striking out two batters.

Micah Strickland helped lead North Hall at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, Lincoln Hewett also went 2-for-2 with three RBI. Stephen Murray also provided four RBI and one hit.

The Trojans will play host to West Hall at 5:55 p.m. Friday,
