FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Flowery Branch boys soccer team scored two unanswered second half goals to secure a 3-1 win over Forsyth Central on Tuesday in Flowery Branch.

Connor Knotts scored on a free kick in the first half for the Falcons (3-5) only to watch the Bulldogs knot the score at 1-1 before the interval.

Yet Taylor Richards gave Flowery Branch a 2-1 lead off an assist from Joey Brett, and Sebastian Fernandez gave the home side some breathing room at 3-1.

Cade Minton and Jesus Alverado combined to record 12 saves for the Falcons in goal.

Flowery Branch travels to play Salem at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
