The Lady Lions saw a pair of singles decisions go 6-0, 6-0 with Nicole Parrish and Ashley Fannon doing so at #3 and #5 singles respectively. Getting the win for Piedmont at the #1 spot was Katie Sailors as she won 6-3, 6-1 with the Lady Lions not dropping a set on the afternoon.
At #2 singles, Viola Terschluse won 6-1, 6-3 over Kelly of Mary Baldwin while Amanda Blackwell and Kelley Miller accounted for the remaining wins in singles action with Blackwell taking a victory at the #4 spot 6-3, 6-1. Miller's win came at the #6 slot with a 6-0, 6-1 victory as she brings her singles record to 3-1 in her debut season with the team.
