GAINESVILLE - Friends of the Hall County Library will soon be holding its annual murder mystery dinner theater, a fund raiser for the group.

Advance tickets are now available and volunteers are still needed to help with the event.

“Murder on the Strip” will be performed the weekend of April 25-26.

The plot centers around the death of Wally “Magic Fingers” Literace, who is found dead in his office in Las Vegas.

Suspects will be played by Friends of the Library members, library staff, and local celebrities including baseball Hall of Fame pitcher Phil Niekro and Flowery Branch Mayor Mike Miller.

Two performances will be offered, one on Friday, April 25 and one on Saturday, April 26. Each will take place from 6:00-9:30 at the Spout Springs Library. A Las Vegas inspired dinner will be served. Attendees may BYOB. Tickets are $40 each and must be purchased in advance. The event will also feature a silent auction.

To purchase your tickets or receive more information, call 770-532-3311 x134 or email lmackinney@hallcountylibrary.org. Seating is limited.

Would-be volunteers should contact Virginia Hale at halev@earthlink.net.
