By The Associated Press
CHAMBLEE, Ga. (AP) -- A school in suburban Atlanta was placed on lockdown after a teen carrying a gun was arrested near campus.
Local media outlets showed police officers standing near the entrances of Chamblee Charter High School Tuesday afternoon as the lockdown was lifted.
DeKalb County Schools spokesman Quinn Hudson says no injuries were reported an after-school activities have been canceled. WSB-TV reports a neighbor saw the teen carrying a gun and called police.
Additional information on the teen who was arrested was not immediately available.
