GCC to hold 2nd reading on 'dangerous animal' ordinance
By Ken Stanford Staff
GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville City Council Tuesday will hold second reading on an amended Dangerous Animal Ordinance.
First reading was held February 4.
The amended ordinance would change the definition of a dangerous animal or potentially dangerous animal.
The council will also consider a resolution requesting this year's Georgia General Assembly to enact legislation authorizing the creation of a convention and visitors bureau authority.
The mayor and council are also scheduled to consider filling the vacancy on the parks and recreation board left by the death last November of Cheryl Hinderschied.
