WINDER - A Barrow County man matched the first five numbers from Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing, making him one of two winners of $1 million.

30 year old Jesse Whitely of Bethlehem checked his ticket this morning and discovered he made a match. According to a press release, he called his wife to share the news.

"She didn't believe me when I told her," he said in the release. "She still doesn't believe me."

Whitely purchased his QuikPik ticket from the CITGO Food Mart on Patrick Mill Road in Winder.

Whitely is an air-conditioning and heating repair man. He has a wife, one child and a second on the way. He and his wife have not decided what they will spend the winnings on just yet.
