GAINESVILLE - A ribbon cutting was held Wednesday afternoon on Washington Street in Gainesville for a reconstruction project the city's Housing Division has been working on.
The house was partially built by students from Gainesville High School and is the first project of its kind in the state (with regard to the work of the high school students).
The 1,053-square-foot, two bedroom, two bath house is located at 825 Washington Street.
Mayor Bob Hamrick presided over the ribbon cutting.
