CLARKESVILLE - This year, Grainger will award a Grainger Tools for Tomorrow scholarship to129 students at 70 community colleges in the U.S., with one-half of the scholarships targeted to U.S. Armed Forces veterans. Upon graduation, each student receives a customized Westward tool-kit from Grainger to jump start their career.

Two of those scholarship recipients are students in North Georgia Technical College’s Air Conditioning Technology program. Frank Johnson of Clayton and Tony Willis of Gainesville each were recently awarded a $2,000 Grainger Tools for Tomorrow scholarship by Grainger, one of North America's leading broad line suppliers of maintenance, repair and operating products.

NGTC Vice President of Academic Affairs Kathie Ivester and Dean for Academic Affairs Dan Pressley were on hand to present the awards.
