Girls basketball: Banks hands Lady Tigers first loss

HOMER -- Banks County used a 21-6 fourth quarter to erase a Dawson County lead and take a 58-46 win over the Lady Tigers Friday night in girls Region 7-AAA basketball action.

It was the first loss for the Lady Tigers (4-1, 1-1 Region 7-AAA) who saw their top three scorers foul out in the fourth quarter.

Sheyenne Seabolt and Ashley Parker each had a double-double for the Lady Tigers. Seabolt scored 19 points and pulled down 10 rebounds while Parker had 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Dawson County led 13-12 after the first quarter but took a 26-23 lead into halftime.
