Aerocom USA expands in Oakwood
OAKWOOD - Aerocom USA held a grand opening Thursday for its new office headquarters and training facility. Part of Hall County for over 15 years in a leased space, the company recently purchased a 13,000 square foot building located on Thurmon Tanner Parkway in Oakwood.
"Oakwood and the Tannerís Creek Business Park is a great business location, and we are happy to make it our home. We have easy access for transportation, excellent choices of nearby restaurants and close proximity to medical facilities and the University of North Georgia, Gainesville Campus," said Aerocom Systems President Richard Beaty.
"We expect to continue to grow and thrive with this area in the coming years."
The expansion represents a $1.2 million investment, according to the Great Hall Chamber of Commerce.
"Aerocom is a model employer with a top quality product that you and I see frequently at retail stores and financial institutions," said Tim Evans, Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Vice President of Economic Development.
"This expansion represents Aerocomís commitment to grow locally as a committed corporate citizen."
Aerocom USA is the North American distributor for Aerocom GmbH, a German company and global leader in the manufacturing of pneumatic tube systems used in healthcare, manufacturing, retail and financial sectors. Aerocom USA has 18 employees at its Oakwood-Hall County, Georgia location and 29 in the U.S. and Canada.
