CUMMING - An Easter morning fire that claimed the life of a Forsyth County woman last Spring has been ruled accidental in nature.
A passerby called the Shady Grove Road fire in around 1:00 a.m.
Forsyth County Fire Division Chief Jason Shivers said investigators believe 40 year old Elise Jeanette Chrisley was home alone.
"The unfortunate part of the story is that the young lady lost her life. That, in and of itself, is tragic, but the exact cause and origin has not been able to be determined, but we do feel confident in stating that it was accidental in nature," Shivers said.
Shivers said the home had working smoke detectors.
