FLOWERY BRANCH - A Flowery Branch man faces several charges after drug agents said they found him with methamphetamine worth about $6700 on the street.
That amount translates to about 67 grams, or well over an ounce, according to authorities.
Dennis Jason Dick, 41, is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, misdemeanor obstruction and driving on a suspended license, according to Gainesville/Hall County Multi Agency Narcotics Squad Lt. Scott Ware.
"We had information that Mr. Dick was selling a lot of methamphetamine up in the north Hall area, particularly around Clermont."
Ware said the bust happened Wednesday at a residence on Cleveland Highway near Jess Helton Road. Agents spotted Dick driving.
"He ultimately pulled into the location which is not his residence but another location that we're familiar with," Ware said.
Dick was booked into the Hall County Jail. Ware said no further arrests were expected in the case.
