LAWRENCEVILLE - Gwinnett County Police Wednesday night arrested the man they believe responsible for Wells Fargo Bank robbery in Norcross Tuesday.
Police generated 28-year-old Jeremy Thompson's name after releasing surveillance photos from the morning robbery at 6155 Jimmy Carter Boulevard.
Thompson, aka Jeremy Cannon, is charged with one count of armed robbery after being arrested with a fake hand grenade he allegedly brandished during the Norcross robbery.
Police arrested him at an Atlanta Greyhound bus station, acting on information he was trying to get to Miami.
Authorities earlier called him a suspect in two additional metro-Atlanta Wells Fargo bank robberies that happened last week. Those crimes were in Doraville and Buckhead.
