JEFFERSON - Jackson County authorities Friday said video footage revealed the identity of a man who slashed some tires outside of a business in Jefferson.

According to Jackson County Sheriff Janis Mangum, authorities were still looking for 44 year old Rodney Cornelius of Athens. He's charged with second degree criminal damage to property.

Mangum said video from the Bed Bath and Beyond Distribution Center and investigation led to the identity.

Cornelius, a former employee of the business, allegedly slashed the tires on a vehicle in the employee parking lot.

Mangum said deputies began the investigation on Monday, earlier this week.
