CLEVELAND - A White County residence was destroyed by fire Saturday night.
White County firefighters were dispatched to the fire in the 300 block of Nelms Road at 8:12 p.m. Stations 2 and 4 were paged, along with mutual aid from Cleveland Fire Department and the Lee Arrendale State Prison Fire Brigade.
The first-arriving unit reported the structure was fully involved by fire, and that all occupants were out of the home, said White County Public Safety Director David Murphy.
The fire was knocked down at approximately 9 p.m., and the cause has yet to be determined, Murphy said. The incident is under investigation.
The Red Cross was called to provide assistance to the occupant.
Nelms Road is located in the Kinseytown area of eastern White County.
