Collins plans industry roundtables

GAINESVILLE - In an effort to get input from the community on regulatory burdens on local businesses, Congressman Doug Collins of Gainesville is planning several roundtable talks around the ninth district this month.
Collins, a Republican, is expected to meet with community bank representatives in Gainesville and officials with the granite and marble industries in Elberton and Jasper.
Collins is co-founder of the Freshman Regulatory Reform Caucus and sponsor of the Sunshine for Regulatory Decrees and Settlement Act, according to his office.
