American Legion planning annual Memorial Day Parade

GAINESVILLE- The Paul E. Bolding American Legion Post of Gainesville is honoring all U.S. Service Members with their 11th annual Memorial Day Parade.

The parade is set to begin at 10 am Memorial Day Monday in front of First Baptist Church on Green Street and will conclude at the corner of EE Butler and Spring Steet.

All that attend are encouraged to use the downtown parking garage at EE Butler.

Parade Director Cheryl Vandiver is the woman in charge of coordinating the festivities. After 10 years of hosting the parade Cheryl and her colleagues are remain very passion about the parade.

"If you want to experience the most wonderful hometown experience and see the beauty of Green Street come out for the Memorial Day Parade."

The hour and a half parade will be held rain or shine.
