GAINESVILLE - United Way of Hall County is increasing the number of agencies it supports to 23 this year, covering 37 total programs in three "core" areas: education, health and income.

"Our goal is to create the best life possible for everyone in Hall County," said Jackie Wallace, President of United Way of Hall County. "We do that by listening to our community to determine where the biggest needs are, and then recruiting the people and organizations that bring the passion, expertise and resources needed to address those issues.'

"We have taken this responsibility very seriously, and we re investing resources in programs that align with these aspirations," Wallace added.

"It will take us all giving, advocating and volunteering to reach our goals.
