Four Hall school system students among GHP finalists

GAINESVILLE - Four high school students from the Hall County School System are among the finalists announced Friday for the Governor's Honors Program (GHP).

They are:

Bailey Little Flowery Branch High Mathematics
Allison Walls Flowery Branch High Social Studies
Charles Allen West Hall High Physics
Austin Paul West Hall High Social Studies

The Georgia Governor's Honors Program (GHP) is a summer residential instructional program (four weeks in 2013) designed to provide intellectually gifted and artistically talented high school students challenging and enriching educational opportunities not usually available during the regular school year.

Sophomores and juniors in public, private, and home schools are eligible to be nominated in one of twenty areas.
