Railroad crossing work in Lula scheduled Monday

LULA - Norfolk Southern Railroad workers will try again Monday to repair a Lula railroad crossing.

According to Georgia Department of Transportation spokeswoman Teri Pope, the work at the State Route 52/Lula Road crossing was delayed last week because of rain.

Pope said the crossing will close at 7:00 a.m. Monday and is expected to remain closed until 8:00 p.m.

A detour will be in place according to Pope.
