Tennis: West Hall boys shut out Dawson County

OAKWOOD -- The West Hall boys tennis team overpowered Dawson County 5-0 on Thursday at the Bobby Bailey Tennis Center.

The Spartans (11-4, 5-1 Region 7-AAA) were led by Max Wilson's 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles, while Tatum Scroggs and Austin Dyer also won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 and 3 singles, respectively.

In doubles, West Hall's No. 1 team of Kip O'Kelley/Grayson Kyle won 6-0, 6-1, while the No. 2 team of Connor Kirkland/Johnny Griffing won 6-0, 6-1.

Next up for the Spartans will be Johnson on Monday.
