Tennis: Lady Falcons swat Heritage, Conyers

CONYERS -- The Flowery Branch girls tennis team swept past Heritage 5-0 on Thursday in Conyers.

The Lady Falcons (8-5, 6-0 Region 8-AAAAA) were led by Nicole Morris, who won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, while Durden Smith won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Madison Smith also won 6-1, 6-4 at No. 3 singles.

Flowery Branch's No. 1 doubles team of Dani Taylor and Kaia Clark prevailed 6-4, 7-5, while the No. 2 team of Breanna Benton and Taylor Tipton won 4-6, 6-2 10-4 (super tie break).

The Lady Falcons will play host to Cedar Shoals Tuesday.
